» Utada has more success as her total Japanese album sales ranging from “First Love” to “HEART STATION” have surpassed the 20 million mark. Congratulations to Hikaru and EMI Music Japan!

» The sales for “HEART STATION” continues to be consistent: #4 on the Oricon Weekly Album Rankings with 23,581 copies sold for Week 8. The total album sales so far is 841,916 units. Digital sales of the album tracks have been superb as well with more than 15 million downloads.

» On the latest message from Utada’s blog, she stated the following: “The recording is going pretty well today.” Is it possible that she is making some progress on her next English album or is it something else…?

» The album “HEART STATION” continues to have great success as it is currently ranked #1 on both iTunes Japan and Oricon. According to Nikkan Sports, more than 1 million units of the album have been shipped since its debut. With that being said, each Utada Hikaru original studio album (“First Love → HEART STATION”) has been successful in shipping over 1 million units.

» As for “Prisoner of Love,” it has managed to sell more than 1.4 million downloads so far. It is currently ranked #1 on iTunes Japan. The recut single will be released on May 21st.

Hikaru finally makes a message after having a short hiatus from her blog site, mentioning that she was working in New York City last week. With that being said, it is safe to assume that she has started some serious progress for her second English album.

According to the Oricon Weekly Rankings, Utada’s latest Japanese album, “HEART STATION,” manages to sell 29,905 physical copies for Week 7 at #6. The total amount of sales sold so far is 818,335.

Utada is still going strong on the iTunes Japan charts. “Prisoner of Love” ranks at #2 for “Top Songs,” whereas “HEART STATION” is at #3 for “Top Albums.”

Another portion of “Prisoner Of Love -Quiet Version-” can be heard in Episode 4 of “Last Friends.” I added the translation so that you can notice how well the lyrics go with the scene. Take note that the video clip may contain spoilers.

A 45 second preview of “Prisoner Of Love -Quiet Version-” is now up on Utada’s official Japanese site. The recut single is scheduled to be released on May 21st. Chaku-Uta downloads of this version are now available.

On the other hand, according to Oricon, Utada’s latest Japanese album “HEART STATION” manages to sell 30,226 physical copies for Week 6 at #7 on the Weekly Rankings. The total amount of sales so far is 788,430 at #4 on the Yearly Rankings.

I’ve managed to find some time to do rough translations for both “Fight the Blues” and “Prisoner of Love.” I recommend checking out the translation of “Prisoner of Love,” as I was quite amazed on how powerful it was and how well it is connected to the Japanese drama, “Last Friends.” With that being said, enjoy the lyrics and translations of all the tracks on the album, “HEART STATION!”

Oricon released their weekly rankings a few days ago as Utada’s latest Japanese album, “HEART STATION,” manages to sell 40,539 physical copies for Week 5 at #6. The total amount of physical copies sold so far is 758,024.

Currently on the iTunes Japan charts, “Prisoner of Love” ranks at #2 for “Top Songs,” whereas “HEART STATION” is at #2 for “Top Albums.”

The latest issue features Utada Hikaru on the cover along with an extensive interview and a photoshoot.

The photos are quite spectacular: Utada posing with a white hoodie in a black background, standing in a room with a disco ball, and my favorite, sitting down in an isolated illuminated room.

There is also a “manga-style” comic strip featuring Kuma-Chan.
